During our worship service, you have the opportunity to tell others what giving means to you. Just click RSVP below and we'll reach out. Here's a helpful set of speaking notes that you can print out and make your own!

NOTE to Volunteer: Thanks for stepping up to share your testimony on giving to our ministry. This script is just to help you remember some points, but please make your time yours as the Holy Spirit leads.

Hi everyone, my name is ___________, and it’s time for our offering.

Remember, there are five ways you can give to our ministry.

This slide is going to stay up with all the info you need for each.

You can give...

1. remotely online,

2. through most banks with Zelle,

3. by mailing it in, or

4. through your financial planner.

You can find all the info you need at shalomdfw.org/donate any time you like.

For those of you here in person, we’re going to be passing the baskets in a moment, but first…

This is what “giving” means to me (or our family):

(give a brief testimony of what giving means to you. You might consider focusing on one of the following one-word reasons or come up with one of your own: obedience, honoring, provisioning, making a deal, being blessed or being a blessing, abundance, spiritual warfare, preservation, or to be a witness)

As the ushers come forward, let’s pray for today’s offering:

(pray a prayer form your heart)

Your personal testimony about giving is yours. It doesn't matter if it's 50 seconds or 5 minutes--the main goal is to glorify G-d and inspire others.

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this," says the LORD of Hosts. "See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
